about

The Thing We Fought For is a split release from Washington, DC’s LMB Records and Hagerstown, MD’s Estavelle Records. The first side contains a new improvised work for large acoustic ensemble, with some structure implemented and led by Abe Mamet. The recording captures the tail end of a month of the recorded musicians playing, living, and exploring together in rural Italy.

The other side is a reimagined meditation on this improvised work by Seventh Shadow of the Sun that focuses on the movement and manipulation of electrons.
